about
I am an internationally award-winning screenwriter, director, and film editor based in London.
Specialising in comic drama and projects with ambitious cinematography, I’m particularly inspired by the work of Steve McQueen and Lynne Ramsay.
My directing credits include Pillow Talk, an upcoming comedy webseries starring Bridgerton’s Charithra Chandran, and Drift, a multi-award winning short film made under lockdown conditions in 2020.
I love the look of analogue film, and am experienced shooting on 16mm and super 8.

I also work as an editor. Fiction cut by me has been broadcast by the BBC and Sky Arts, and has been nominated for RTS awards.
I’m at home directing short fiction, but have also led a range of music, corporate, and filmed theatre projects.

I have a background in academic literature and film studies, having graduated both Oxford and Bristol universities. I’ve written about film, music, and politics for a range of publications including New Statesman.
I’m a prolific stills photographer, shooting mostly street scenes and landscapes on 35mm film.
